We are currently looking for an Analytical Chemist to join a leading contract testing company in Cambridgeshire.
The role:
As an Analytical Chemist you will support the analysis of a range of environmental samples using analytical techniques including GC, GC-MS and HPLC.
Duties include:
- Setting up and running experiments to test environmental samples.
- Carry out GC, GC-MS, GC-FID and HPLC analysis.
- Follow SOPs and ensure work is carried out to UKAS and ISO 17025 guidelines.
- Perform instrument calibrations and troubleshooting.
Ideal candidates will be degree qualified in a Chemistry subject and have industrial experience in an analytical laboratory. You will have previous experience of HPLC, GC OR GC-MS analysis.
