Analytical Chemist
Rowland Talent Solutions are currently looking for an Analytical Chemist to join a leading contract testing company in Cambridgeshire.
As an Analytical Chemist you will carry out analysis using a range of techniques including ICP and ICP-OES.
Duties include:
- Setting up and carryout experiments to test environmental samples.
- Carry out ICP, ICP-OES and ICP-MS analysis.
- Follow SOPs and ensure work is carried out to UKAS and ISO 17025 guidelines.
- Sample preparation and conduct wet chemistry tests such as PH, COD, BOD and titrations
Ideal candidate:
Will be degree qualified in a Chemistry subject or have some laboratory experience in an analytical testing laboratory.
Experience of ICP or wet chemistry techniques (Titrations, BODs, CODs) is desirable.
