PhD Medicinal Chemist
We are currently looking for an Organic Chemist or Medicinal Chemist to join an award-winning Pharmaceutical company in the East Midlands.
The role:
As a Medicinal Chemist you will design, develop and synthesise complex molecules for several drug discovery projects.
Duties:
- Design and execute novel and complex synthetic routes to challenging chemical targets.
- Interpret data to design and optimise drug compounds.
- Adapt your scientific and organic chemistry knowledge to solve complex chemistry problems.
- Write & review project reports and regularly present findings to project leaders.
Ideal candidates will be PhD qualified in Organic Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry and have experience in designing and executing complex synthetic routes.
These positions are open to recent PhDs or those with industrial experience in synthetic organic chemistry.
