Product Manager
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a PhD Life Scientist to join a leading development and manufacturing company in the South West. The company supports the pharmaceutical and biotech research industries covering a range of therapeutic areas.
The role:
As a Product Manager you will identify and review new and potential products for the company, assessing commercial feasibility and risk factors. You will have the responsibility for several products and to bring them into the company’s product range.
Duties:
- Research and assess the market to identify and recommend new products for the company.
- You will work with marketing, sales, development and manufacturing to ensure products are brought to market.
- Develop and maintain key relationships and networks with research, industry and academic institutions.
- Attend tradeshows and conferences and represent the company and these events.
This is a great opportunity for a PhD Scientist who is looking for a role away from the lab. The role would suit someone who is looking to use their technical and problem solving skills in a commercial environment.
Ideal candidates will have experience in the drug discovery industry and have experience in project management or leading a project.
