We are currently looking for an experienced Analytical Development Chemist to join a rapidly growing speciality chemical company in Berkshire.
The role:
As a Senior Analytical Chemist, you will lead a small team of Analysts involved in HPLC method development and validation for the analysis of new compounds. With expertise in a range of analytical techniques including HPLC, UPLC and UV you will manage a number of analytical method development projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage a small team of Analysts co-ordinating workloads to ensure analytical projects are delivered in time.
- Support, train and coach junior Analysts in a range of analytical techniques including HPLC, UPLC, NMR and LC-MS.
- Develop and validate analytical methods from scratch.
- Maintain all analytical documentation and ensure quality standards are adhered too.
Ideal candidates will have experience in HPLC method development and have some experience supervising a team or co-ordinating projects/ workloads. You will have experience in troubleshooting analytical methods and writing analytical reports. It is also desirable that candidates have experience in LC-MS or NMR.
