Rowland Talent Solutions are currently looking for a Laboratory Technician or Analytical Chemist to join a leading contract testing company in Manchester.
This role is open to recent graduates in Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry with some experience in GC analysis who are looking to gain laboratory experience.
Duties include:
- Setting up and running experiments to test environmental samples.
- Support and/ or carry out, after full training, GC, GC-MS and GC-FID analysis.
- Follow SOPs and ensure work is carried out to UKAS and ISO 17025 guidelines.
- Sample preparation and conduct wet chemistry tests.
Ideal candidates will be degree qualified in a Chemistry subject or have some laboratory experience in an analytical testing laboratory.
Experience of GC and GC-MS is desirable however full training is provided.
