Development Chemist

​We are currently looking for an OrganicDevelopment Chemist for a chemical company in Cambridgeshire.   As a Development Chemist you will support small scale process development and scale up of fine chemicals.   Responsibilities include: ·       Carry out small scale process development of chemicals up to 20l. ·       Lead projects in scale-up from laboratory scale through to production. ·       Complete all documentation for research development and scale-up projects. ·       Carry out maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment. ·       Work with other teams including Research, Production and Quality Control.   Ideal candidates will have: A degree/ Masters (MChem, MSc, MSci) or PhD in Chemistry/ Synthetic Organic Chemistry with previous industrial experience working in a process development lab.
