Analytical Chemistry Team Leader
We are currently looking for an Analytical Chemistry Team Leader to join a leading Analytical Chemistry testing company in Cambridgeshire.
As an Analytical Chemistry Team Leader, you will lead a team of Laboratory Technicians and Analytical chemists performing analysis on a range of environmental samples using techniques such as GC, GC-MS, ICP or ICP-MS
Duties include:
- Manage a team of Analytical Chemists to ensure all work is carried out to the required standards (UKAS and ISO 17025).
- Support troubleshooting and coach Analysts in techniques such as GC, GC-MS, GC-FID, HPLC or ICP.
- Manage the laboratory including stock ordering and ensure instruments are ready for use.
- Manage work loads and work with other managers and Analytical Team Leaders to ensure all work is carried out.
Ideal candidates for the Analytical Chemistry Team Leader will be degree qualified in a Chemistry subject and have experience supervising laboratory analytical chemists performing HPLC, GC or ICP analysis.
Candidates must have experience of some of the following analytical techniques HPLC, GC, GC-MS or ICP.
