We are currently looking for an Analytical R&D Manager with expertise in pesticide analysis.
The role:
Joining a highly successful pesticide testing team you will support and lead a group of Analytical Chemists to develop and validate new and existing methods.
This position involves hands on laboratory and analytical work (LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS) as well as leading study projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Analytical method development for LC-MS/MS and GC MS/MS pesticide residue analysis.
- Method validation to ISO 17025 standards.
- Support the Lab Manager in coaching, training and leading the pesticide analysis team.
- Act as the subject matter expert for pesticide residue analysis including LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS instrumentation.
Successful Candidates:
Will be degree qualified in Chemistry or related subject and have extensive experience in pesticide residue analysis in either food or environmental testing.
You will have significant experience in chromatography and mass spec analysis - LC-MS/MS, GC-MS and GC-MS/MS, along with experience in analytical method development, validation and trouble shooting
