We are looking for an experience Analytical Chemist with expertise in materials and characterisation Science.
The role:
Liaising with customers you will lead projects from planning through to completion. As a Materials Scientist you will design and carry out testing specifically solid state characterisation, including Dynamic Vapour Sorption (DVS), Thermal Analysis (DSC, TGA) and X-ray diffraction.
Duties include:
- Plan and manage material testing ensuring all work is carried out to project requirements and quality standards.
- Carry out characterisation studies using Dynamic Vapour Sorption (DVS), Thermal Analysis (DSC, TGA) and X-ray diffraction.
- Write and update SOPs and analytical methods.
- Complete and review analytical qualification protocols
Ideal candidates will be degree qualified in a science subject (Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry or Material Science) and have experience working in Pharmaceutical Materials Science laboratory. You will have experience in solid state characterisations such as Dynamic Vapour Sorption (DVS), Thermal Analysis (DSC, TGA) and X-ray diffraction.
