We are currently looking for an Analytical Scientist to join a pharmaceutical company in Oxfordshire.
The company has a novel technology platform and specialises in the formulation and development of biologicals to combat infections.
The Role:
- Perform analysis including Gel Electrophoresis (SDS Page, Western Blot), Protein and cell-based Assays and HPLC.
- Develop, validate and troubleshoot methods for the analysis of a range of formulations.
- Support and write analytical protocols and reports.
- Mentor and train new members of staff.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained at all times.
Ideal candidates:
Will be degree qualified in Bioscience/ Biochemistry or related Life Sciences subject and have experience in the following techniques HPLC, Gel Electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE), Protein/ DNA Assays or Cell-based Assays. Experience in method development desirable along with experience working in a GMP environment.
