We are currently looking for a DMPK Principal Scientist / Group Leader to join a highly successful research company in the Midlands.
The role:
As a Principal Scientist or Group Leader you will lead a team of highly skilled scientists in DMPK studies to support drug discovery projects.
Responsibilities include:
Lead projects and studies in pharmacokinetics (PK), absorption, metabolism, distribution, and excretion (ADME) of drug candidates.
Lead and support troubleshooting and validation of ADME bioanalytical assays and new technologies.
Lead a team of scientists having responsibility for staff development, retention and recruitment.
Work collaboratively with other departments on a variety of drug discovery projects.
Ideal candidates will have:
A degree, Masters or PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or Pharmacology (or related subject) and have extensive experience in absorption, distribution, drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics (ADME).
To be successful as a Principal Scientist/ Group Leader you will have previous experience in people and project management within DMPK.
