Formulation Scientist
We are currently working with an innovative and growing Pharmaceutical development company in Oxfordshire who are looking to recruit a further Formulation Scientist to join their growing team.
The role:
As a Formulation Scientist, you will deliver projects focussing on solid dosage and biological formulation development.
Duties include:
- Carry out formulation and process development experiments for investigational work.
- Develop solid biological formulations.
- Perform formulation development and process activities such as freeze-drying, spray drying and blending.
- Conduct analysis and interpret data.
Ideal candidates:
Will be degree, Masters or PhD qualified in either Pharmaceutical Sciences or a biological science subject and have experience working in formulation development.
As a Formulation Scientist you will have experience in the formulation and development of solid dosage forms and/ or ideally biological formulations. Experience in freeze-drying, spray drying and powder blending is highly desirable along with a knowledge in immunology.
