We are currently recruiting for a Graduate Chemist who is looking for a non-lab based/ office role.
The role:
As a Customer Support Chemist, you will assist the Sales and Business Development department with customer queries and quotations.
Responsibilities vary in this role, and you will be expected to provide excellent customer service to a range of clients across the globe.
You will respond to customers in a professional and timely manner providing product information, quotes and project updates as required.
Other duties include managing orders, updating the database, liaising with numerous clients over the phone and e-mail.
Ideal candidates for the Customer Support Chemist role will be:
Degree qualified in Chemistry and have excellent communication and organisational skills.
Previous Chemistry/ laboratory experience is desirable but not essential. The role is open to recent chemistry graduates with some previous experience working in a customer facing role (gained from part time/ summer jobs).
