Medicinal Chemistry Group Leader
We currently have exciting opportunity for an experienced Medicinal Chemist to join an award-winning Drug Discovery company in the East Midlands.
The role:
As a Group Leader you will manage a team of synthetic chemists taking the lead on client drug discovery projects ensuring all project time lines are met.
Duties include:
- Design and develop new synthetic routes and perform synthesis of agreed target molecules.
- Lead a team of Synthetic Chemists supporting drug discovery projects.
- Design and carry out experiments using standard laboratory techniques.
- Liaise with project managers, customers and directors of the company, keeping everyone updated on project schedules.
To be successful in this role:
You will be PhD qualified in Medicinal or Synthetic Organic Chemistry and have experience working as a Senior Scientist or Team Leader within drug discovery/ Medicinal Chemistry.
