Rowland Talent Solutions are currently looking for Laboratory Analyst to join a company in Cambridgeshire.
The Laboratory Analyst role is open to recent graduates in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry or Forensic Sciences (or similar subject) with some experience in analysis (Wet Chemistry or ICP).
Duties include:
· Setting up and carryout experiments to test environmental samples.
· Run ICP, ICP-OES and ICP-MS analysis.
· Follow SOPs and ensure work is carried out to UKAS and ISO 17025 guidelines.
· Sample preparation and conduct wet chemistry tests such as PH, COD, BOD and titrations
Ideal candidates will be degree qualified in a Chemistry/ Analytical Chemistry subject or have some laboratory experience in an analytical testing laboratory.
Experience of ICP or wet chemistry techniques is desirable however full training is provided.
