We are currently looking for a Laboratory Analyst and an Analytical Chemist to join a environmental testing laboratory in Cambridgeshire.
The role:
As an Analytical Chemist you will carry out a range of chemistry analysis using techniques such as GC, GC-MS and HPLC.
Duties include:
- Set up and run various experiments to test different samples.
- Carry out GC, GC-MS, GC-FID and HPLC analysis.
- Follow SOPs and ensure work is carried out to UKAS and ISO 17025 guidelines.
- Perform instrument calibrations and troubleshooting.
Ideal candidates will be degree qualified in a Chemistry subject and have some laboratory experience as an Analytical Chemist/ Laboratory Analyst. You will have some previous experience of one of the following techniques HPLC, GC OR GC-MS.
