Laboratory Analyst
Rowland Talent Solutions are currently looking for an Analytical Chemist to join a leading contract testing company in Cambridgeshire.
As a Laboratory Analyst you will be involved in the analysis of a range of environmental samples using techniques such as GC, GC-MS, ICP or ICP-MS
Duties include:
- Setting up and running experiments to test environmental samples.
- Carry out analysis using GC, GC-MS, GC-FID or HPLC analysis.
- Follow SOPs and ensure work is carried out to UKAS and ISO 17025 guidelines.
- Sample preparation and conduct wet chemistry tests.
Ideal candidates will be degree qualified in a Chemistry subject and have some laboratory experience in an analytical chemistry laboratory.
Candidates must have experience of some of the following analytical techniques HPLC, GC, GC-MS or ICP.
