Medicinal Chemist
A leading Pharmaceutical company in Cambridgeshire are looking for Organic Chemists and Medicinal Chemists.
The role:
As a Medicinal Chemist you will work collaboratively to design and synthesise novel synthetic routes.
Responsibilities:
- Support drug discovery projects carrying out organic synthesis.
- Design and perform novel synthetic routes.
- Using your organic chemistry knowledge provide innovative solutions to chemistry problems.
- Write and review project reports.
Ideal candidates will be PhD qualified in Organic Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry or have a degree/ masters (MSc, MChem, MSci) with some industrial experience in organic chemistry.
To be successful in this role will have a good knowledge of synthetic methods and have experience problem-solving synthetic chemistry.
The role is commutable from Hertfordshire, Essex, North London, Cambridgeshire, and East Anglia.
