A highly successful Pharmaceutical Drug Discovery in the East Midlands are looking for PhD Medicinal Chemists.
The role:
You will design novel molecular targets to overcome complex and challenging synthetic chemistry problems. As a Medicinal Chemist you will work on several exciting projects leading the design and synthesis of novel synthetic routes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide synthetic chemistry expertise to drug discovery projects at the hit-to-lead and lead optimization stage.
- Design and execute novel and complex synthetic routes to challenging chemical targets.
- Plan and carry your own work managing projects, ensuing all work is carried out to a high standard and on time.
- Write and review project reports and present to managers and customers.
Ideal candidates:
Will have a PhD in Organic Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry and have a solid understanding of medicinal and synthetic chemistry. You will have experience in designing and executing complex synthetic routes.
