Medicinal Chemistry Group Leader
Rowland Talent solutions are currently working with a rapidly growing drug discovery company in the Midlands who are looking for a further Group Leader in Medicinal Chemistry.
The Role:
As a Medicinal Chemistry Group Leader, you will lead a team of Organic Chemists and Medicinal Chemists to deliver a range of exciting drug discovery projects.
Duties include:
- Support and lead the design and development of new synthetic routes and synthesis of target molecules.
- Lead a team of Synthetic Chemists supporting drug discovery projects.
- Design and carry out experiments using standard laboratory techniques.
- Liaise with project managers, customers and directors of the company, keeping everyone updated on project schedules.
Ideal candidates will be PhD qualified in Medicinal or Synthetic Organic Chemistry and have experience in leading projects and/ or people within drug discovery.
