Rowland Talent Solutions are looking for PhD Organic Chemists/ Medicinal Chemists to join an award-winning drug discovery company.
The role:
As an Organic Chemist/ Medicinal Chemist you will design novel molecular targets to overcome complex synthetic chemistry problems. Working on several different projects you will design and carry out organic synthesis on novel synthetic routes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Organic Synthesis knowledge and expertise to drug discovery projects.
- Planning your own work, you will design and synthesise novel molecular targets using retro synthetic analysis, route design and problem-solving skills.
- Work collaboratively with project teams and other departments to fulfil projects.
- Write and review technical project reports.
Candidates:
These roles are open to recent PhDs or Post Docs in Organic Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry. You will have a solid understanding of medicinal and synthetic chemistry and have experience in designing and executing complex synthetic routes.
