We are currently looking for a PhD Organic Chemist for a growing Pharmaceutical company in the South East.
As an Organic Chemist, you will carry out complex Organic Synthesis to develop novel molecules for drug discovery and development projects.
Duties include:
- Solve complex synthetic chemistry problems.
- Design and carry out experiments using several laboratory techniques.
- Develop synthetic routes and perform synthesis on target molecules/ drug candidates.
- Write and review technical reports and documentation.
Ideal candidates will have a PhD in Organic Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry. The position is open to recent PhDs or a Masters graduate with industrial experience in synthetic organic chemistry.
