We currently have an opportunity for an Organic Chemist to join a growing Pharmaceutical company in the South East.
The role:
As an Organic Chemist, you will carry out organic synthesis to support drug discovery activities for a range of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Using your synthetic chemistry expertise, you will solve complex and challenging chemistry problems.
- Design and execute organic synthesis in support of drug discovery projects.
- Carry out analysis and purification of compounds using instrumentation such as HPLC, MS and NMR.
- Write project reports ready for manager approval.
Candidates will have:
A PhD in Organic Chemistry along with experience in multi-step synthesis, purification and characterisation of compounds. Recent PhDs are encouraged to apply.
