We currently have a couple of exciting opportunities for recently qualified PhD Organic Chemists/ Medicinal Chemists to join an award-winning Pharmaceutical company.
The role:
As an Organic Chemist/ Medicinal Chemist you will design and conduct multi-step synthesis to overcome complex synthetic chemistry problems. Working on several different projects you will design and carry out organic synthesis on novel synthetic routes.
Responsibilities:
- Design and synthesise novel target molecules using retro synthetic analysis, route design and problem-solving skills.
- Use your organic chemistry knowledge to solve complex and challenging synthetic problems.
- Work collaboratively with project teams to deliver projects on time.
- Collate and interpret data to write and review technical project reports.
Candidates will have:
- A PhD in Organic Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry
- A strong medicinal and/ or synthetic chemistry knowledge
- Experience in designing and executing synthetic routes.
