Rowland Scientific Talent Solutions are currently looking for a PhD Organic Chemist or Medicinal Chemist for a growing Pharmaceutical company in the East Midlands.
This role is initially for a 6 month contract.
Joining the company, you will support drug discovery projects at the hit-to-lead and lead optimization stage.
Duties include:
- Solve complex medicinal and synthetic chemistry problems.
- Design and carry out experiments using standard laboratory techniques.
- Develop synthetic routes and perform synthesis of agreed target molecules
Ideal candidates will have a PhD in Organic Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry, with experience in multi-step organic syntheses. Industrial/ Post Doc experience is preferred but not essential.
