Rowland Talent has a fantastic opportunity for an Organic Chemist - Process Development to work for a leading Pharmaceutical development company in the Midlands.
The role:
As a Process Development Chemist you will have expertise in organic synthesis, scale-up and process development within a Pharmaceutical/ API/ Fine Chemical development company. In this role you will support and lead the scale-up of laboratory processes.
Responsibilities:
- Design and developed robust novel chemistry processes
- Carry out organic synthesis, purification and identification.
- Perform process development, optimisation, and scale-up of chemical intermediates and APIs.
- Carry out multi-step synthesis from multi-gram to kilogram scale
Ideal Candidates will:
Have a PhD in Organic Chemistry and have experience in the Pharmaceutical or Fine Chemical industry, ideally working to GMP. You will have experience in organic synthesis along with a working knowledge of process development and scale-up.
