Medicinal Chemist - Principal Scientist
I am currently looking for a Principal Scientist/ Project Leader in Medicinal Chemistry to join Biotech company in Cambridgeshire who are true leaders in their field.
The work is certainly very exciting that focusses on undruggable targets for complex, unmet diseases. With their own pipeline advancing rapidly they are now looking for an experienced drug discovery expert to plan and lead medicinal chemistry projects in collaboration with internal and global partners.
The role:
- Lead medicinal chemistry projects working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Plan and design target routes
- Work with CROs managing teams of Medicinal Chemists remotely
- Analyse and interpret project data (including SAR, DMPK, ADMET data)
- The role is 100% office based/ working from home.
Ideal candidates will be:
PhD quailed in Organic Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry and have expertise in drug design. You will have experience in a senior or leadership role optimising Hit to Lead compounds within an early stage drug discovery programs, along with experience in analysing SAR data.
