Senior Analytical Chemist

We are currently working with a leading research and development pharmaceutical company in Berkshire who are looking for a Senior/ Lead Analytical Chemist to support the running of the Analytical Chemistry Laboratory.
As a Senior Analytical Chemist, you will design and carry out HPLC/ UPLC method development and validation in support of development projects. In this role you will take the lead on projects supporting and training junior members of the team.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct method development and optimisation on analytical methods, specifically HPLC/ UPLC.
- Run method development studies and troubleshoot analytical methods.
- Act as a scientific leader training and coaching other Analytical Chemists
- Review and write qualification protocols, SOPs and reports.
- Run and oversee a range of analytical analysis using techniques such as HPLC, NMR, GC, UV and IR.
Ideal candidates will have:
A degree or master’s in Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry (or related subject) along with extensive experience in HPLC analysis and method development.
You will have experience in method validation and troubleshooting and significant experience in analytical data interpretation.
Experience working in a Pharmaceutical GMP environment is highly desirable.
