Rowland Talent Solutions are currently looking for an Analyst to join a leading laboratory testing company in Essex.
As an Analytical Chemist you will lead a range analysis using analytical techniques including GC, GC-MS and HPLC. In this role you will also support analytical troubleshooting and the training and coaching new staff.
Duties include:
- Set up and run experiments to test a range of samples.
- Conduct a range of analytical testing mainly using GC, GC-MS and HPLC.
- Update and write SOPs and other documentation.
- Ensure all work in the lab is carried out to UKAS and ISO 17025 standards, checking QC and analytical data.
- Support and train new members of staff.
Ideal candidates will be degree qualified in a Chemistry subject and have experience working in industry. You will have experience of GC, GC-MS or HPLC analysis working within a UKAS/ ISO17025 laboratory.
