We are currently looking for a Medicinal Chemist and a Senior Medicinal Chemist to join a growing company in Cambridgeshire.
The role:
As a Medicinal Chemist you will design and carry out a range synthesis of target molecules for drug discovery projects.
Responsibilities:
- Support a range of drug discovery projects working across Hit Identification, Hit-to-Lead and Lead Optimisation.
- Design, synthesise and purify high quality novel small molecules for targets
- Work collaboratively within the medicinal chemistry team and other departments including DMPK and Assay Development.
- Interpret data and write reports
Ideal candidates will be:
PhD qualified in Organic Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry with experience in solving complex synthetic chemistry problems.
For the Senior Medicinal Chemist role candidates will have some previous experience in industry or have worked as a Post Doc.
