We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Organic Chemist to join a growing drug discovery and development company in the South East.
The role:
As a Senior Organic Chemist, you will carry out organic synthesis to support drug discovery activities for a range of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Provide synthetic chemistry expertise to solve complex chemistry problems.
- Design and execute organic synthesis in support of drug discovery projects.
- Carry out analytical analysis and purification of compounds using MS and NMR.
- Write and review project reports and present to managers and customers.
Candidates will have:
A PhD in Organic Chemistry and have experience working within drug discovery in a Pharmaceutical, CRO or Biotechnology company. You will have experience in multi-step synthesis, purification and characterisation of compounds.
