We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Synthetic Organic Chemist to join a research and development company in the North East.
The role:
As an Organic Chemist you will conduct complex organic synthesis for the development, optimisation and scale-up of small molecules.
Duties include:
- Carry out organic synthesis to develop and optimise processes of target molecules.
- Conduct multi-step synthesis and laboratory scale up to GMP
- Manage and oversee projects working collaboratively with other departments.
- Prepare and review reports and other technical documentation.
Ideal candidates for the Synthetic Organic Chemist role will have a PhD in Organic Chemistry or an Master’s (MSc, MChem) with some experience in chemical synthesis.
We have also have opportunities for Senior Scientists/ Team Leader for those with further experience in industry.
