The role:
As a Medicinal Chemist you will design and conduct organic synthesis of novel molecular targets.
Within this Medicinal Chemistry role, you will apply your synthetic organic chemistry knowledge and experience to design complex and exciting molecular targets for a several key projects.
Responsibilities:
- Design and carrying out organic synthesis.
- Support and/ or lead a range of drug discovery projects.
- Design and execute novel and complex synthetic routes to challenging chemical targets.
- Work collaboratively with other teams and departments.
- Write and review project reports.
Ideal candidates:
Will be PhD qualified in Organic Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry and have strong synthetic organic chemistry skills.
For a Senior Scientist role, you will have previous experience in designing and synthesising compounds for hit to lead and lead optimisation projects
