We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a PhD Organic Chemist to join a pharmaceutical research and development company in the North East.
The role:
As an Organic Chemist you will conduct complex organic synthesis for the development, optimisation and scale-up of small molecules.
Duties include:
- Carry out organic synthesis to develop and optimise processes of target molecules.
- Conduct multi-step synthesis and laboratory scale up to GMP
- Manage and oversee projects working collaboratively with other departments.
- Prepare and review reports and other technical documentation.
Ideal candidates for the Synthetic Organic Chemist role will have a PhD in Organic Chemistry and have experience in chemical synthesis.
We have opportunities available for candidates who have recently gained their PhD and Senior Scientist roles available for those with further experience either in a Post Doc or industry.
