We are currently looking for an Analytical Team Leader to join a rapidly growing speciality chemical company in Berkshire.
The role:
As the Team Leader in Analytical Chemistry, you will lead a small team of Analysts involved the analysis of new compounds. With expertise in a range of analytical techniques including HPLC, UPLC and NMR you will oversee method optimisation, troubleshooting and validation activities.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage a small team of Analysts co-ordinating workloads to ensure analytical projects are delivered in time.
- Support, train and coach junior Analysts in a range of analytical techniques including HPLC, UPLC, NMR and LC-MS.
- Carry out method development, optimisation and validation activities.
- Maintain all analytical documentation and ensure quality standards are adhered too.
Ideal candidates will have experience in HPLC method optimisation and troubleshooting and have some experience supervising or training laboratory analysts. Ideally you will have experience in HPLC method development and validation.
It is also highly desirable that candidates have experience in LC-MS or NMR.
