We are currently looking for an experienced Medicinal Chemist to lead a team of synthetic chemists focussed on designing new synthetic routes.
Joining this growing Pharmaceutical company, you will support the Head of Medicinal Chemistry in supervising the daily activities of the team to ensure project time lines are met.
Duties include:
- Design and develop new synthetic routes and perform synthesis of agreed target molecules.
- Lead a team of Synthetic Chemists supporting drug discovery projects.
- Design and carry out experiments using standard laboratory techniques.
- Liaise with project managers, customers and directors of the company, keeping everyone updated on project schedules.
Ideal candidates will be PhD qualified in Medicinal or Synthetic Organic Chemistry and have experience in a Senior or Team Leader role within drug discovery.
